Night work

The second teaser: a night job in Node City.

The game has two sides. In the light you learn: quests, drills, a town full of people who'd rather point at a manual than explain. Then you go dark.

In the dark nobody helps and no level gets you through. A letter asks for something small — put a name on a list, same as the others. You have the terminal and a cover that melts with every second and every command. When it runs out, you're traced and thrown back into the light.

Everything typed in the teaser is real: ls, cat, grep, sort, echo, tail, cp. The same commands work on any real server. That's the point.

Honest work pays the rent. This pays better.
